    tencat's doll- it happened!

As requested, ( bossy bunch!!!) I have started a thread for my doll project. I started January 2nd, my goal is to be done with the sculpey sculpting ( scraping, sanding, re-sculpting, re-sanding) by the end of January, though the Birthday Doll project may set me back a little. I have 3 children, 2 of which I stay at home with all day. So my speed of progress depends on how much I neglect my house and kids. My doll is loosely based on my 8 year old girl.

Yay, go for it tencats Big cheer.
Yes we are bossy, and rightly so, you deserve your own thread
I know what you mean, my doll is going to have to wait a few weeks while I try to come up with something for the 'Big Birthday Bash'.
I love the face you made, I can't wait to see more.
Just keep slogging away, I know you can do it. Then we can play 'make a mould' together.

Sorry for being bossy, but it's only because we care!!
Yay for the new thread! *pom poms*

It's a shame we can't all live in a utopian society where one can sit and make dolls all day... but don't worry, the housework isn't going anywhere and you've got at least a few years left before your kids start to recriminate!

I appreciate the support from you guys!

So if someone could tell me how to put up photos on a post, I would appreciate it, especially if you don't make me feel stupid by telling me how easy it is. I tried following the directions under FAQ, but I can't find a link that says "Albums and Photos" under User CP. I am soooo not web/computer savvy. Sad but true.

Hi tencats, do you have to go to User CP?

Usually I just 'post reply' as normal, then in the row of icons ...

    hang on, here's a picture:

choose the one that I've circled...

Then insert the link to your image on flickr, or whichever site is hosting your images.

    Any luck?!

wow aneemal.. how did you do that??? LOL

Another tip, with me, it's not enough to insert the link to the image, I will have to right click on the image wherever it's being hosted (ie: flickr)
    then scroll down to "properties"
a page will pop up with the URL location of that image

That's what I have to copy paste into the little box that pops up when you click that icon aneemal has circled for you.

Another tip: If i'm logged into my flickr account, I can't access the URL for the image when I right click properties, I have to be logged out. Just incase you find the same.

Thanks Aneemal and Mayple. If something is in a list or a group of icons, I can't find it even if it's in plain sight! Let me try:
