Where do I find?... Shopping Guide

I thought it might be a good idea to pull together information from various threads to create a shopping guide for Enchanted Dolls.

Even for those without an ED, I hope this might prove some fun window-shopping!

Please feel free to comment and share anything that you've found!

    Wigs

Generally speaking, EDs have a 4" head. However, due to the shrinkage of the porcelain during casting, different EDs measurements will vary slightly, with wig sizes ranging from between 3.5" (if elasticated) to 4.5".

    Please note the difference between 4.5 and 4-5 - (i.e 4 and 1/2 inches, 4 to 5 inches)

~ Places to buy online ~

    BJD Retailers:
Mimiwoo Official website and eBay Store:
    - '1/6 Obitsu Dollfie' wigs (3.5-4")
    - 'Hujoo Baby' (10.5cm)
    Parabox
    - 3.5"
    - 4"
    - 4.5"
    Mudoll
    - 3-4"
    - 4-5"
    Facets by Marcia
    - 4"
    - 4-5"
    eBay Sellers:
    RaiHing
    Synthetic Mohair
    - 3-4"
    - 4-5"
    Rainbow Color Dolls
    - Barbie Fashion royalty (4.5")
    - Fashion Royalty Ken (4-5")
Sometimes, the odd search may bring up a great bargain. One tip - try to remember that it's not the doll modelling the wig that you're interested in! This, for example, is a great value wig if you live in the US.

    Handmade:
    • Grevling (aka Ama) sells beautifully crafted mohair wigs especially for Enchanted Dolls. Also on Etsy: Isadora's Atelier

    • elcatka has also created tailor-made wigs for ED, here an alpaca wig. she also makes them in mohair and synthetic fibres.

    Clothing

    Pre-made/Pre-existing Brands:
Barbie: In short, some tops fit albeit snuggly. Generally speaking, nothing below the waist will fit.
[Examples: Iđuun in Barbie t-shirt, Iđuun in Barbie strap-dress]

Sindy: Many tops and bottoms fit, but full-length sleeves on Sindy become 3/4 length on ED.
[Examples: Neia wearing various Sindy outfits, Iđuun in some Sindy too]
Tonner: 13" REVLON outfits can be worn by Enchanted Dolls.
    [Examples: Tahlia in Tonner outfits]

1/6 Action Figure (DID): Because the males have bulky chests, the tops are likely to fit ED (although the arms may not appear full length).
    eBay Sellers:
'The Daughter Who Sews': tights and hosiery for 13+" dolls dolls.
    Online Shops / Etsy Shops:
Clear Lan: T-shirts and sleeveless dresses in FR-busty-size fit ED's very well.
    [Example: Arya wearing a T-shirt]
TatianaBStudio: Exquisite clothes made for Resin ED's.
[Example: Tatiana's Kupava wearing her creations in this thread]
    Forum Seamstresses:
anneuk: elegant knits, gorgeous dresses, fashionable jeggings/leggings and much more, see here
[Examples: Sophie wearing a sundress and an evening gown]
elcatka: flawless miniature clothing and accessories, as seen here
[Examples: Arya wearing lovely pyjamas, Selena wearing lingerie, a cool outfit with leather jacket and an amazing lingerie ensemble]
mayple: Orchid's Haute Couture Collection also here or in her Etsy shop: OrchidsDesigns - "breathtaking on the haughty elite, and darling for the quirky coquette".
[Examples: Iđunn wearing Little Adventuress, Alice wearing Lace Harvest, Fern wearing the Parisian Playsuit and Smoke and Whispers]
Natalia: amazingly detailed and stylish outfits, some of which can be found here or contact her via nataliasheppard.com.
[Examples: Anastasia wearing a lace dress and a suit and the Keira Knightley dress from Atonement]
Leigh in ME: he has made these amazing evening gowns for ED's here
[Examples: Devon wearing several lovely pieces, Iđunn wearing the Pewter and Cranberry gown]
Joker: she creates exquisite ED-clothing combining tiny crochet and sewing that can be bought from here: Outfits by Joker or in her Etsy shop: Dress for Doll
[Examples: Her resin girl Elizabeth wearing her creations in this thread]

    Made to Order:
ForDoll: specialises in knits for 1/6. Several members have commissioned items specifically for ED. Lots of choice of styles and colours. Contact: fordoll@yahoo.cn for commissions.
[Examples: Selena, Arya, Isadora, Iđunn and Neia wearing fordoll knits]

    Footwear

    Enchanted Doll's foot size: 3.2cm, 1 1/4"
Administrators Fitz and anneuk both discovered shoes/boots that fit Enchanted Dolls. See these threads for examples: Devon's Shoes and Giselle's Shoes & Boots.

    Pre-made/Pre-existing Brands:
Tonner: Some shoes made for Tyler Wentworth and Gene may be a good fit for Enchanted Doll. Certain styles work better than others. Avoid open-toe shoes and those with very high arches.
Kingstate: Made to fit 16" Fashion Dolls, such as Tyler.
    - Available from: Facets By Marcia
Sybarite: Sybarite dolls have larger feet and are high-heeled, but some shoes may still fit. A little pricey.
[Examples: Giselle in black patent boots from Couture Swallow Sybarite, Giselle in pale pink shoes from Sybarite 'Testament' outfit]
Clea Bella: A line of fashion doll, not so common...
    - Available from: Fashion Doll Clothes

    Made to Order:
Rosa's Dolly Goods - Shoes: Rosa makes beautiful ultrasuede Maryjanes and crocheted Espadrilles that fit both the Resin and Porcelain Enchanted Dolls. Lots of colour choices. See all the info (and photos of Annina's resin and porcelain girl wearing those shoes) on her site: Rosa's Dolly Goods - Shoes for Enchanted Doll

Some of the 4 size wigs sold by Facets by Marcia fit EDs quite nicely. I've seen Paris, Roxie, Christine and Tori wigs fit EDs quite well in size 4.

I would also recommend ForDoll on Flickr for some great ED-sized sweaters and tops.

Hi, I found these 1:6 scale blokey dolls and CLOTHING! They are by DID (which I think is Dragon in Dream). I've put the ebay link as there are heaps there.http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trkp...4.l1581&_pgn=2
Some of the boots, jackets, pants and bags look like they may fit EDs.
(Amal, if you want to change/delete/move this post, feel free. I wasn't sure where to put it)
