    My Asian RED face-up WIP

    HI everyone !
My RED arrived on Christmas eve and got her body blushing and face-up a few days ago.
I did it by myself, looking for inspiration in Marina's book.
It's been quite difficult to choose between all the beautiful different faces she's created, even now that it's done, I'm not sure she will stay like that.
Here are a few pictures of the WIP.
I also wanted to create painted eyes.
    Thanks for watching,
    Eric

First step, after 3 layers of MSC : freckles !

First attempt : I wasn't fully satisfied with the eyebrows and smoky eyeshading, so I removed everything and started it all again !

    This it how it ended.
I put her eyes on but they are not very well placed in the picture.
I have also glued eyelashes on and made a wig cap.
Now, it's alpaca wig making time !

    See you soon !

She looks pretty! You did a very good job on the freckles. Freckles are hard to do!

Thank you eveyone for you nice words.
Here's the tutorial I've found and that helped me to make the freckles. It's very easy but it's better to practice on a sheet of paper before.

I so admire anyone who attempts their own face up. Great job Eric and I look forward to seeing her with the wig you make.

Can I please ask, what you used to wipe off the first face up (which I quite liked by the way) and did you then have to reseal with a foundation of MSC again?

Thank you Merri and Dina !
I removed the first face-up using rubbing alcohol. I had to spray 3 more times with MSC after that and started all again (freckles, blushing ...)

No Name yet RED by Eric, on Flickr

Here is she, with a wig I made for another doll a few years ago. I didn't have time to work on hers yet.
I'm planning on making a short haired alpaca wig.

And she also needs a name !
