She really is lovely, Amal. Love the light freckles & the wig is really becoming to her. You've done an amazing job.

Bibarina, Petraskova, Anna and jilljackson thank you so much for your kind words, my friends! I'm really glad that she worked out - eventually! I was worried about the freckles - some faceup artists have mastered such amazing skin texture effects and I don't know how they do it! - but luckily they turned out 'just enough'! I enjoyed making the short wig too! I want to make more wigs... my poor Neia is currently bald

I've made some eyes... I'll probably make some more at a later date, but these will have to do for now! I can't bear the thought of taking them out and fitting another pair - it's just toooooooo blooming tricky!!

And now, finally, here is Novalie with some eyes!

Now I look forward to sorting out her residence (a display case on my desk) and getting her into some clothes

Hope you like how she turned out!!

Her eyes are beautiful - such a reflective tranquil gaze. It's not easy to get the spacing and direction to look natural. I think it's because the eye rims are quite deep. I'm tempted to experiment with new eyes for Arbella but I'm not sure I can face the trauma of trying to refit them!
